I. Executive Summary
Platform Concept:
IGL = Intelligent Genome Layer — a proprietary DOMEIXA® brand interpretation for a modular computational genomics and genomic-data platform.
Domain Architecture:
The ecosystem contains three complementary .COM domains whose meanings are immediately understandable as product layers: IGLCORE.COM for the platform foundation, IGLDATA.COM for genomic data infrastructure and IGLCODE.COM for developer tools, algorithms, workflows and computational execution.
Market Segment:
Computational Genomics, Genomic Data Science, Bioinformatics, Research Software, Genome APIs, Workflow Orchestration, Multi-Omics Integration, Scientific Cloud Infrastructure, AI-Assisted Genomics and Developer Tooling.
Modern genomics is inseparable from computation. Large genomic datasets require storage, harmonization, algorithms, reproducible workflows, APIs and increasingly machine-learning methods. This makes a layered platform identity commercially credible for research software and genomic infrastructure.
The strategic value of this package is not simply three names. It is a coherent product family in which each domain can operate independently while all three reinforce a single platform architecture.

Foundation → Information → Computation
III. Why the Ecosystem Works
Shared Prefix = Shared Authority
Every product starts with IGL, allowing one visual identity, terminology system and brand architecture across the platform.
Clear Product Separation
CORE, DATA and CODE communicate different roles without requiring buyers or users to learn arbitrary product names.
Developer-Friendly Architecture
The names naturally fit APIs, SDKs, documentation, cloud services, versioned products and modular software infrastructure.
Expandable Naming System
Future products can follow the same logic: IGLAI, IGLCLOUD, IGLMODEL, IGLAPI, IGLGRAPH or other independently cleared extensions.
The package is therefore stronger as a coordinated architecture than as three unrelated domains. A buyer can launch one module first while protecting the naming territory required for later platform expansion.
IV. Scientific & Technology Context
The National Human Genome Research Institute describes genomic data science as the use of computational and statistical methods to decode functional information hidden in DNA sequence. NHGRI also treats bioinformatics and computational biology as fundamental across modern genomics.
Machine learning is increasingly used in genomics to identify patterns in large and complex datasets. This supports a real need for modular infrastructure separating data management, shared platform services and executable computational workflows.
NHGRI's AnVIL program provides a real-world example of cloud-based genomic data sharing and analysis infrastructure designed to integrate and compute across large datasets.
GA4GH develops APIs, schemas, standards and software for responsible genomic-data interoperability. Its Tool Registry Service, for example, supports exchange of tools and workflows for analyzing and manipulating genomic data across computing environments.
The IGL ecosystem does not claim affiliation with these organizations or standards. They demonstrate that data + tools + workflows + interoperable infrastructure is a genuine architectural pattern in contemporary genomics.
V. Commercial Platform Architecture
1. Genomics SaaS Platform
IGLCORE runs identity and shared services, IGLDATA manages research datasets and IGLCODE exposes computation, notebooks and workflows.
2. Genomic Developer Cloud
A developer-first environment with data access APIs, workflow registries, SDKs and scalable genomic compute.
3. AI-Assisted Research Stack
Models and agents can operate on governed genomic datasets through reproducible computational tools while preserving clear data and execution layers.
4. Multi-Omics Infrastructure
The architecture can expand beyond DNA to transcriptomic, epigenomic and other molecular datasets without changing the core naming system.
5. Research API Ecosystem
A product family for institutions or biotech companies needing programmatic access to genomic datasets, models, tools and workflow execution.
6. Internal Biotech Platform
A private architecture for a biotech or pharmaceutical company standardizing genomic data, research code and shared computational services.
VI. Brand & Marketing Advantage
The ecosystem tells the product story before a sales presentation begins: CORE is the foundation, DATA is the information, CODE is the execution.
Possible platform positioning lines include Build on the Intelligent Genome Layer, Data In. Code Runs. Insight Out., The Modular Infrastructure for Computational Genomics, One Layer for Genomic Data and Compute and From Genome Data to Reproducible Code.
The three names also support differentiated audiences. IGLCORE can speak to platform architects and enterprise buyers, IGLDATA to data scientists and research organizations, and IGLCODE to developers and computational biologists.
This segmentation is valuable because one company can market specialized landing pages and product experiences while maintaining a single parent architecture.
VII. SEO & Entity Strategy
The domains themselves do not guarantee search rankings. Their advantage is architectural clarity and the ability to build three tightly related topical entities around one parent concept.
IGLCORE topical cluster
genomic platform architecture, genomic cloud infrastructure, metadata, orchestration, permissions, research workspaces
IGLDATA topical cluster
genomic data science, sequence data, annotations, genomic repositories, interoperability, multi-omics data
IGLCODE topical cluster
bioinformatics code, genomic workflows, SDKs, APIs, computational genomics, reproducible research tools
A parent ecosystem page can interlink all three modules while each domain develops specialist authority for its own technical audience.

X. Naming, Scientific Meaning & Legal Context — Important
Intelligent Genome Layer is a DOMEIXA® commercial brand interpretation of IGL. It is not presented as an established scientific term, genomic standard or recognized software architecture.
The acronym IGL already has multiple established meanings. Oregon Health & Science University uses IGL for its Integrated Genomics Laboratory, which provides genome-wide and targeted RNA and DNA analysis. In immunogenetics and genomic literature, IGL is also used in connection with the immunoglobulin lambda locus / immunoglobulin light-chain genes.
The phrase IGL code also appears in an unrelated technology context through ETH Zürich's Interactive Geometry Lab, which publishes research software and code under its IGL identity.
For these reasons, the ecosystem should always be presented using the complete proprietary product names IGLCORE, IGLDATA and IGLCODE together with the explicit parent expansion Intelligent Genome Layer. Avoid suggesting affiliation with OHSU, immunoglobulin nomenclature, ETH Zürich or any existing IGL organization.
Clinical diagnostics, disease-risk prediction, patient-specific treatment recommendations or regulated medical functions would require product-specific validation, evidence and applicable regulatory review. The recommended default positioning is research software, computational genomics and data infrastructure.
Before public premium marketing or commercial deployment, professional trademark, company-name, regulatory and confusion-risk clearance should be performed for all three domains and the parent IGL identity. This memorandum is a branding and digital-asset document, not legal or medical clearance.
Ownership & Transfer
The three domains presented within this ecosystem memorandum are part of the official DOMEIXA® digital asset portfolio and remain under direct ownership of DOMEIXA® until acquisition.
The stated ecosystem acquisition value applies to the complete package of IGLCORE.COM, IGLDATA.COM and IGLCODE.COM.
Following completed payment confirmation, the domains will be transferred to the new owner through a secure registrar transfer process.
